October 6, 4:00pm - 9:00pm

The Block Party @ the U is a new signature event that is designed to spotlight campus spirit, student talent, and brand engagement to bring together thousands of students for food, fun, and festivity. From student performances to a headliner DJ set, it’s a chance to ignite the excitement of Homecoming right from Day One.

October 7, 10:00am - 4:00pm

A blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Students primarily participate in donations.

October 8, 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Gopher Giveback is a new Homecoming week event designed to showcase and celebrate the University of Minnesota’s commitment to service, philanthropy, and civic engagement. The event will feature a wide range of University departments and student groups whose missions and initiatives are centered on charitable efforts, community support, and volunteerism.

October 8, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

A bingo event hosted by a professional drag queen on our Saint Paul Campus, and is an expansion of our popular regular weekly bingo event. This is an event that students look forward to every year!

October 9, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

We’re bringing school spirit to our weekly trivia night with University of Minnesota themed trivia event held in Coffman Memorial Union. Teams of up to 8 compete to win University of Minnesota merch and other prizes.

October 10, 6:30pm

The Homecoming parade is our largest event of the year and features 100 student organizations, University departments, and local businesses. The parade brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader University community.

October 10, 8:00pm - 10:00pm

A ticketed event at Northrop that features a well known comedian or comedy group. Last year’s event featuring Marcello Hernandez from Saturday Night Live sold out and provided a hilarious end to the week. This event is open to community members and students.

We provide the space for your brand to create an impactful and enriching experience with students. The typical provided space is 10 feet by 10 feet but we can increase footprint size depending on event availability. Tables and chairs will be provided.  Category exclusivity for activations can be purchased for an additional fee.

For select events, we can accept prizes or food in lieu of a monetary payment. If food is provided, there is an opportunity to be on-site or to provide products.

Students will get the opportunity to win prizes in a prize drawing  by redeeming a punch card that will be marked off at each attended event. This is a great opportunity to engage with students and have a logo at each event.

Not able to be on-site? This package allows you to promote your event via logo placement on promotional materials leading up to the event, as well as at the event.
