Created to encourage school spirit and to increase interest in attending Gopher athletic events, the Homecoming Parade also promotes unity among students, staff, faculty, alumni and the surrounding community. This year's parade route is down University Avenue.
Register for the 2012 Parade
The Student Unions & Activities Program Board invites you to participate in the 2012 Homecoming Parade.
- Parade registration opens for University of Minnesota students, staff, and faculty on Monday, April 23. U of M Affiliates must login with an X500 username and password to register.
- Parade registration opens for all non-University-affiliated groups on Monday, July 23.
- Parade registration ends Friday, September 28 at 4:00pm.
- If the parade reaches its maximum capacity of entries prior to the end of registration, additional entries will be placed on a wait list. Registrants on the wait list will receive notice of their entry's status no later than Friday, September 28.
